Ignored by Edwards, Chimaev proposes a confrontation against Durinho at UFC 269; Brazilian responds

Ignored by Leon edwards in the challenge to replace the injured Jorge masvidal No. UFC 269, Khamzat Shimaev dared once again. Willing to join the group of athletes present at the December 11th show, the Swede proposed a confrontation against two other athletes who offered to face the Englishman: Gilbert Durinho e Belal Muhammad |. The invitation was made on social media.

"Gilbert Durinho, Belal Muhammad |, are you ready to fight? Leon edwards doesn’t want to fight me and I would like to fight you”, wrote Chimaev, in his account on Twitter.

Unlike Edwards, Durinho did not leave Khamzat without answers. Used to holding last-minute clashes in Ultimate, the Brazilian showed interest in the challenge.

“I’m always in,” Gilbert wrote.

Opponent of Leon edwards in March, Muhammad also did not run from Chimaev's proposal.

“I’m always ready to take down,” he replied.

Although the three athletes are publicly willing to fight in UFC 269, Ultimate has not yet taken a position regarding Edwards' future at the December show.
