Roger Gracie praises Anderson's challenger: 'He can submit anyone, including me'

Roger gracie will make his octagon debut at UFC 162, on July 6, in Las Vegas, against Tim Kennedy. In the same news, your compatriot Anderson Silva defends the middleweight belt against Chris Weidman in the main fight of the night.

Roger, who is the biggest winner in the history of jiu-jitsu, was full of praise for Weidman and stated that Anderson's rival can submit anyone, including himself.

“I think Weidman is very, very dangerous. His grappling has a very high level. He can submit any other top level grappler. I think it's really good. He can force anyone to give three taps, including me”, said Roger in an interview with the North American ESPN website. The Brazilian also analyzed his debut fight against Tim Kennedy.

“If Tim Kennedy tries to fight me on the ground I will be very surprised. I won't be surprised if he tries to take me down, but I don't think he'll try to fight me on the ground”, he analyzed.
