Brazilian Leandro “Buscapé” Silva may have his future in the UFC threatened. This is because the TUF Brasil 2 participant is part of the group of six athletes who had their profiles removed from the list of fighters on the organization's official website. In addition to Leandro, the following no longer appear on the list: Eddie Mendez, Roger Hollett, Anthony Smith, Nah-Shon Burrell and Karlos Vemola.
Among the names mentioned, only Nah-Shon Burrel did not appear in the TUF Brasil 2 Finale. The other five – including Buscapé himself, who suffered the first defeat of his career against Ildemar Marajó – were in Fortaleza on June 8th and lost their fights. It is important to note that the removal of an athlete's profile from the UFC website does not confirm his dismissal, but it does indicate that he may be released soon – especially at the current time when Ultimate is downsizing its squad.
Through an official note, reproduced by the “Ataque Total” website, Buscapé denied that he had already left Ultimate. “Hello friends and fans, I come here to inform you that this news is completely unfounded. I didn’t declare anything to anyone, and I didn’t receive any official communication from the UFC about this news,” he said. His name, however, still does not appear on the organization's welterweight list.

Buscapé lost to Ildemar and not to Yuri.
