The 'war' between Justin gaethje e Michael chandler, in fact, left marks. In a post-UFC 268, which took place last Saturday (6), the president of Ultimate, Dana White, confirmed that the athletes went to the hospital after the end of the event to undergo tests and certify that they were fine.

“They both got into the ambulance and went straight to the hospital to prove that there was nothing wrong with either of them. It was a war and we love fights like that, no (injured fighters) is not something I like to see,” said Dana.

According to White, the two fighters could have gone to the press conference, but the Ultimate boss chose to avoid any possible problems. He even states that he still does not have any medical update on the matter.

“He probably could have written a check ('Fight of the Night' bonus) before they both went to the hospital. Therefore, we still do not have a medical update on the fighters. I don’t want (Michael) Chandler to talk to anyone in the media right now.”

In addition to a three-round 'war', Gaethje and Chandler also left the UFC 268 with the 'Fight of the Night' award and now each one takes home US$50 (around R$277).
