O Jungle Fight arrives in the interior of Rio de Janeiro for his next show. The event will hold its 54th edition, on June 29th, in Barra do Piraí, in the southern region of Rio de Janeiro. The highlight of the night will be the fight for the lightweight belt between Lúcio Curado, current champion of the category, and Ivan Batman, one of the main names in the division in Brazil.
The president of the event, Wallid Ismail, did not hide his desire to expand his brand and make MMA more and more popular in Brazil. “My dream is to take MMA to every corner of the country and help to further expand this sport, which is genuinely Brazilian. I want to do the Jungle Fight in all regions that have not yet been able to host a major event of the sport. Fans in big and small cities deserve this,” said the manager
The Combate channel will broadcast the competition card live throughout Brazil. Fans in the United States will be able to watch the show on the ESPN Deportes channel.
