The wave of demonstrations that have taken place across Brazil has also gained supporters in the world of MMA, the UFC featherweight champion José Aldo and the winner of TUF Brasil 2 Leo Santos shared, this Thursday (20), images of their participation in the protest that took place in Rio de Janeiro.

“New Union on the street for a better Brazil! Justice, equality, dignity and peace!” he wrote Leo Santos No. Twitter, along with an image in which he appears next to Aldo, who wears a Mike Tyson, amid the protest. Aldo himself also commented, via the microblog network, on his participation in the demonstration. “General at the demonstration. United family, we (sic) are brothers. What I’m talking about is Nova União!!!”, published the featherweight champion.

Inside the octagon, Leo Santos won William Patolino at TUF Brasil 2 Finale, on June 8th, and became the champion of the second national edition of the reality show. Already José Aldo prepares for the confrontation against the “Korean zombie” Jung Chang-Sung, on August 3rd, at UFC Rio 4.
