Patricky Pitbull won the Bellator lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) belt, vacated by his brother Patrício, by knocking out Peter Queally in the main fight of the 270th edition of the show, held in Dublin, his opponent's home.

The knockout was the sixteenth of Patricky's career, out of 24 total victories. It was also the first suffered by Peter Queally in the career. Until then, the Irishman had suffered all of his defeats by decision of the side judges. In a press conference given after winning the belt, Pitbull reinforced the power of his hands and assured that he can knock out anyone, but praised his rival.
“I am an expert. I'm the king of knockouts. I can finish off anyone. He's a nice guy. Before the fight he didn't talk shit. I like that, the respect. He faced me before and knew how hard I hit. I have respect for him and I would like to thank him again for the opportunity to fight here”, declared the Brazilian.
In addition to becoming the new owner of the organization's lightweight belt, Patricky Pitbull took revenge for the defeat suffered against Peter Queally in May this year, in Bellator 258, when he ended up defeated by technical knockout (medical interruption).
