At weight, Patricky Pitbull confirms challenge for the vacant lightweight title in rematch against Peter Queally at Bellator 270

Everything is fine for the main fight of the Bellator 270, which takes place this Friday (5), in Dublin, Ireland. Event stars, Patricky Pitbull e Peter Queally confirmed their protagonism by passing the official weigh-in without any major problems, this Thursday (4). The athletes face each other in a rematch valid for the vacant lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg).

Willing to take on the position abdicated by his brother, Patrick Pitbull, Patricky weighed below the established limit. Lighter, the fighter weighed 69,6kg.

'Home' athlete, Peter Queally he set the maximum amount required for a title fight. The Irishman weighed 70,3kg.

Only flaw

Of the 24 athletes scheduled for this Friday's show, only Patchy mix had problems with the scale. The fighter, who would appear among the bantamweights (up to 61,2kg.) in the co-main fight, ended up failing the weight cut and weighed 62,5kg.

Mix's opponent, James Gallaher fulfilled his role. The athlete scored 61,6kg.

Even with Patchy's failure, the duel remains confirmed on the schedule. Bellator 270. The clash, however, will be held at catchweight and Mix will have to pass on a percentage of his purse to his opponent, according to the 'MMA fighting'.
