Rematch week has officially begun and with it, the provocations have also increased. “I'm in New York, about to win the belt. Usman can't stop me. I just arrived in New York City, coming from the great state of Florida, from the great Miami. I'm here to win the UFC world title. What motivates me is revenge. He doesn't want to be here. If it wasn't for the UFC forcing him, saying that if he didn't fight, they would take the belt (from him) and move on, he wouldn't be here,” said Colby.

Covington continued the 'machine gun' of provocations by insinuating again that Usman had no interest in a rematch and promised to knock him out next Saturday (06).

“He was looking for some way to avoid fighting me. It's a great feeling to be in New York City. They say the city never sleeps, but luckily they'll make an exception on Saturday night because I'm going to put Usman to sleep at Madison Square Garden,” concluded 'Chaos'.

In the first duel with the Nigerian, in December 2019, Colby was knocked out in the fifth round after a very even fight. Since then, the North American has only beaten the former champion Tyron woodley, in September 2020. 'Chaos' has a record of 16 triumphs and two setbacks in professional MMA.
