After spending almost 10 months without an Ultimate match, Ribas, who ended up suffering from Codid-19 during the season, took the opportunity to celebrate the feat over the weekend. The Brazilian spoke about the special flavor of the positive result.
“This fight was very good. It was almost a year without acting. I continued training and, at the end of this match, when the referee raised my hand (in reference to the victory), I had that incredible feeling of having done the job right. I showed my heart and how much I wanted to be there. For sure, for the next fight, I will be even better”, he concluded.
No UFC 267, Ribas took to the octagon to erase the negative result suffered against Marina Rodriguez, in January. Now, the Minas Gerais company is once again winning in the organization and, consequently, dreaming of reaching the top of the category led by Rose namajunas.
