This Monday (17), UFC 164, which takes place in Milwaukee (USA), became a little more international. This is because, according to the website ground and pound, the fight between German welterweight Pascal Krauss and South Korean Hyun Gyu Lim was confirmed for the event on August 31st.
Krauss is perhaps one of the most underutilized athletes on the Ultimate roster, having had just three fights since debuting in the organization – in 2010. The justification for the long gap between his fights is the series of injuries that the 26-year-old German , has passed in recent years. Despite this, “Panzer”, as it is known, has a good record: with eleven wins and just one defeat.
Like its opponent, Huyn Gyu Lim has a good record. Despite an irregular start to his career, the South Korean found his feet and hasn't lost since February 2009. Since then, he has won six triumphs – the last of them against Brazilian Marcelo Guimarães, known as “Magrão”. The South Korean has a record of eleven wins, three losses and one draw.
UFC 164, the stage for the welterweight duel, takes place on August 31, in Milwaukee (USA). In the main fight of the night, Canadian TJ Grant challenges North American Benson Henderson for the UFC lightweight belt.
