Joe Stevenson receives his jiu-jitsu black belt

UFC lightweight Joe Stevenson received his jiu-jitsu black belt from world champion Robert Drysdale last Saturday.

Stevenson, 26 years old, was the winner of the second edition of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF-2) in the welterweight division, but dropped down to the lower division, the lightweights (up to 70kg), earning the right to compete for the interim UFC belt. Ultimate, against B.J. Penn due to Sean Sherk's suspension. Submitted by the Hawaiian, Joe has a new fight scheduled for UFC-91, November 15th, against Kenny Florian, where the winner will be able to compete again for the category belt.
