Young American Myles Jury has a new commitment to defend his unbeaten record in MMA. The lightweight was scheduled to face Canadian Mike Ricci at UFC 165, which will be held on September 21, in Toronto, Canada.

Jury arrived at the UFC through the program The Ultimate Fighter, but it took two editions to finally secure himself. He was one of the favorites in TUF 13, but a serious knee injury took him out of the season. The fighter then had another chance at TUF 15, when he ended up eliminated by the finalist To the fifth in the best fight of the season.

With an immaculate record of 12-0, Jury won the three fights he had in the UFC. He submitted Chris Saunders in the TUF 15 Finale, massacred Michael Johnson at UFC 155 and knocked out Ramsey Nijem at UFC On FOX 7. The last two fights were the only ones in the fighter's career that went beyond the first round.

Ricci was also revealed by TUF. He was runner-up in the sixteenth season, surprisingly defeated in the final by Colton Smith. Already in the UFC officially, Ricci beat Colin Fletcher in the duel of the TUF runners-up in the second half of 2012 (Fletcher participated in TUF Smashes, which pitted a British team against an Australian team). At 27 years old, Ricci is a member of Tristar Gym, a team run by Georges St-Pierre and Rory McDonald, your personal friend.
