If among Brazilian fans and in the main betting houses on the planet Anderson Silva is the main favorite in the fight against Chris Weidman, at UFC 162, in the opinion of Ultimate athletes, favoritism is on the other side of the octagon. According to the organization's president Dana White, most fighters believe in a victory for the North American on July 6th.

“All the pros, when you talk to the fighters, every single one that I've spoken to and that we've interviewed believes that Weidman is going to beat him (Anderson Silva). Georges St Pierre believes so much that he didn't even plan to fight Anderson”, said the director during a conversation with the press in Winnipeg (Canada), after UFC 161, last Saturday (15).

Without recording any defeat in Ultimate since debuting in the event in 2006, Anderson Silva puts the middleweight title at stake against the undefeated North American Chris Weidman at UFC 162, on July 6, in Las Vegas (USA). Anderson is the organization's record holder for title defenses, totaling ten so far.
