The sad news of the death of João Cappelozza, father of the PFL heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg), caused mourning in the world of MMA. Brazilian's rival last Wednesday (27), Before Delija he forgot the competition and made a point of paying his respects to his opponent in the final of the company's million-dollar tournament.

In the images (see below), it is possible to see Delija visibly shaken by the loss of her professional companion. Defeated by unanimous decision of the judges in a real battle, the Croatian made a point of paying homage to the Brazilian.

New champion of the category up to 120,2kg. of the PFL, Bruno rose to the decagon without knowing about his father's death. According to a statement from the organization itself, the São Paulo native's family decided to preserve the fighter so as not to undermine the focus on the commitment.

Also according to the PFL, João Cappelozza passed away last Sunday (24). The cause of death was not announced.
