With ligament rupture in his elbow, Minotauro undergoes surgery

And that was exactly what was confirmed after the publication of the results of the MRI exam carried out by the athlete, who will undergo surgery this Friday (14).

The information was confirmed by the Nogueira brothers’ blog, “Chave de Braço”. According to the text, published by Minotauro also on his page on Twitter, the fighter is already in the city of São Paulo, where he is undergoing the last tests before carrying out the surgical procedure. The estimated recovery time is eight weeks.

This is the second surgery that Minotauro will undergo in around a year and a half, both on the upper limbs. In December 2011, after the defeat suffered by Frank mir at UFC 140, the former interim PRIDE and Ultimate champion underwent surgery on his right arm, which was fractured by his opponent during the finish of the fight.
