After a 'war' in the title fight for the strawweights (up to 52,1kg.) against Weili Zhang in combat on March 8, 2020, Joanna Jedrzejczyk saw the COVID-19 pandemic disrupt her plans in the organization and, this Monday (25), the Polish woman had her name removed from the category and weight-for-weight rankings due to the period of inactivity.

The belt will be contested by the champion Rose namajunas and the challenger Weili Zhang, in revenge for UFC 268, which takes place on November 6th.
