For last weekend's Ultimate event, Borrachinha ended up being the center of a major controversy involving the weight cut for the confrontation. Highlight of the category up to 83,9kg, the Brazilian, on Wednesday (20), confirmed that he would not be able to fulfill the weight established in the contract.

After that, the category in which the duel would be played would be changed twice more. Finally, the fight was held in light heavyweight (up to 93kg.).

In the confrontation, Borrachinha once again had a good performance in the UFC, but it was not enough to convince the three side judges. After 25 minutes of action, Marvin vettori was declared the winner in the unanimous decision of the judges.
