“I think the psychological aspect of a fight counts a lot – with the issue of nervousness and pressure. It's normal and, automatically, for those who are making their UFC debut there is greater pressure. The pressure is more on Maria, but a fight is a fight and we never know. I'm relaxed. I get a lot more nervous when I go to a friend's corner than my own fight. I’m working hard on my head, I’m super happy and just enjoying the moment,” said Ricci.

Despite being defeated by the French promise Manon Fiorot by knockout in the second round, Tabatha highlights the margin of evolution for the 'tupiniquim duel' against Mary Oliveira. The São Paulo native is mysterious about her strategy, but reveals that she is ready for any scenario in which the fight may develop.

“She really has a height that can help her, but I prepared myself for everything. If I think I'm having the advantage standing up, I stay standing up. If I think I should take it to the ground, I'll take it to the ground. I'm very strong in grappling and I think I'll use that a lot if I need to. If I don’t need it, I’m ready for the beating”, added the Brazilian.
