Léo Santos faces Clay Guida in a veterans' duel at UFC Las Vegas 44, in December

Scheduled for December 4th, the UFC Las Vegas 44 presents a duel between veterans valid in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). The Brazilian Leo Santos faces Clay guida at the UFC Apex. The information was released through a publication of Clay guida on social network.

At 41, Leo Santos seeks to recover from the first defeat suffered in the octagon. Champion of the second edition of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil, the Rio native had seven wins and a draw in the UFC, until he was knocked out by Grant dawson in the last second of the fight, in March of this year. The Nova União athlete would face Aelxander Hernandez on October 2nd, but had to leave the card due to an injury.

Clay guida, in turn, enters the Octagon for the third time in 2021. “The Carpenter” defeated Michael Johnson in February, but was surpassed by Mark madsen in his last appearance, in August. At 39 years old, the American has four defeats in his last five fights.

In the main fight UFC Las Vegas 44, José Aldo faces Rob font in a decisive duel for the future of the bantamweight division (under 61,2 kg) of Ultimate.
