DJ Francesco Facchinetti filed charges against the former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor. The Italian accuses McGregor of assault during a party at a hotel in Rome last Saturday (16).

In a statement to the North American CNN, Francescho Facchinetti stated that he officially filed complaints last Tuesday (19). The DJ claims to have made the decision “because the world needs to be aware that he is dangerous”.

“He is dangerous and needs to be stopped,” the DJ told the news channel.

The police report says that McGregor became angry when Facchinetti and his group said they wanted to leave. It was at that moment that the Irishman allegedly hit the DJ with a punch in the nose and mouth.

In an interview with Italian radio Radio 105, last Wednesday (20), Facchinetti assured that he is willing to go to the end with the accusation, regardless of any agreement that McGregor's lawyers may offer.

“I could have shut up and not told anyone anything, but I need to say that that person is really violent and dangerous. If McGregor's lawyer calls me tomorrow and offers me 10 million euros (approximately R$65 million) to drop the charges and give up everything, I would say no. I don't care about the money or the hype. He is a highly dangerous man. Seeing him in person is different from reading about him,” said the DJ.

According to the Irish newspaper “The Irish Post”, if you are convicted of assault, Conor McGregor You can face three months to three years in prison in Italy. Most likely, however, the Irishman will be fined.
