Cut from the end of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2 after an arm injury, suffered in the semi-final of the reality tournament, the Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio believes he still has something to prove in relation to the program. In Fortaleza for the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, Santiago spoke about his desire to face his replacement again in the decision Leo Santos – who became champion of this edition.

“It’s a fight that could happen. I really feel like I had what it takes to be the winner, I think. My goal when I came to the program was to be a champion. To close this cycle, I would really like to fight whoever wins and show that I should have been the champion. I really believe that”, said the athlete in an interview with the website MMA Junkie.

I think that the Argentinian will have to get in line to face Leo Santos. Tufe's fight was very tough, and Leo showed that he is a very tough challenger, as he recovered in time to deservedly compete in the final. I think that before challenging Léo, the Argentine has to fight Viscaia and then Patolino, then he could challenge the current champion. Until then, Léo would have fought with more strikes, to prepare for the stand-up fight.
