With so many victorious moments, it is difficult to highlight which was the greatest in the Canadian's career. In an interview with “BT Sport”, after entering the UFC Hall of Fame, GSP chose the victory in the rematch against Matt Serra as the highlight of his career.

“There are several, but my favorite was when I defeated Matt Serra in Montreal (UFC 83), because it was a time when the sport wasn't really accepted by the press and, after that night, everything changed. It was a great opportunity to be able to perform in front of all my family and friends”, said the Canadian.

Georges St-Pierre and Matt Serra faced each other for the first time in April 2007, at UFC 69. On that occasion, Serra staged one of the biggest “zebras” in the history of the organization when he knocked out GSP in the first round, winning the welterweight title . In the rematch, a year later, at UFC 83, St-Pierre returned the knockout in front of his friends and family, in Montreal.
