“I think it’s too early,” Erick said. “I’m not too worried about a title fight right now. To be honest, I'm not worried about it at all. The only thing I want is to do my job. I just focus on my next fight. Now I'm going to go home, rest, take a week or two off and then go back to work again. I’m going to wait for the UFC to schedule my next fight and focus on that.”

The fighter explained that he would like to accumulate as much experience as possible before competing in a title fight.
“If I could have twenty fights before the belt, I would have twenty fights because I want to get there with a lot of experience. I want to acquire a lot of knowledge. Definitely, when I fight for the title, I want it to be around my waist. But that’s not part of my plans, not now.”
