TUF Brasil 2 Finale, an event that took place on Saturday night (08), registered some records in the history of the UFC. The most notable was the number of fights ended by submission.

In a total of twelve fights fought, eight ended in submission. The previous record was six, a mark achieved on three occasions: at TUF 6 Finale (2007), at UFC Fight Night 17 (2009) and at UFC On FUEL TV 2 (2012).
Another historic mark was the greater number of interruptions, that is, the greater number of fights ending by knockout or submission. Of the twelve fights in the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, ten did not reach the end, the same number achieved in UFC Fight Night 13, in 2008.

The Ceará event was also the only one held on national soil in which all Brazilian fighters emerged victorious. There were cases of Antonio Braga Neto (who won Anthony Smith), Gaius Monster (which finished Karlos Vemola), Rodrigo Damm (who went by Mizuto Hirota), Raphael Assunção (which submitted Vaughan Lee), Ron Jason (who submitted Mike Wilkinson), Daniel sarafian (which submitted Eddie Mendez) and Erick silva (which ended Jason High). The 7-0 achieved by the Brazilians in Fortaleza surpassed the 7-1 that occurred in the first UFC Rio, when Luis Banha was knocked out by Stanislav Nedkov.
