Rio confirms two athletes for challenge against São Paulo

Two athletes from Rio de Janeiro have been confirmed for the São Paulo x Rio challenge, which will be one of the attractions of the Santos Fight Festival. Johnny Eduardo (Boxe Thai / Nova União) and Willian Viana (TFT) are the first selected to defend the Rio team in the event that will rock the city of Santos, on December 6th, at the Mendes Convention Center. Additionally, Santos Fight Festival announced partnerships that will further solidify the show.

“I hope to do a great job there. I'm confident and my training is very hard. I've already fought six times in São Paulo and I'm undefeated there. It is, of course, an excellent stage. As for the rivalry, it's a healthy thing and will only stay inside the ring. I have many friends from São Paulo”, said Willian Viana.

Those who are also excited about the chance to defend Rio de Janeiro are Johnny Eduardo. The fighter, who will be in action this Saturday at Real Fight, always wants to be at the big events.
