The second edition of TUF Brasil comes to an end, this Saturday (08), with the fight between the coaches Rodrigo Minotauro e Fabricio Werdum, in addition to the reality show decision between William Patolino e Leo Santos. But before stepping into the octagon, the fighters successfully passed the scale challenge.
In the traditional weigh-in that precedes the event, Minotauro weighed 107,1 kg, while Werdum weighed 109,0 kg. After stepping on the scales, Fabrício did not hide his optimism for the triumph. “It’s one of the most important fights of my life. I'm very happy to fight against Minotauro, a legend of the sport. But I'm sure I'll win and get close to fighting for the belt,” said Werdum.
Minotauro, who has enjoyed a successful career in the sport, is betting all his chips on the duel against Werdum. “The fight is super important. I'm at the moment where I can't lose, but I'm not thinking about my career after this fight. My whole career is based on this fight”, stated Rodrigo.
In addition to the coaches' duel, the show's fight program features the grand final of TUF Brasil 2. William Patolino stepped on the scale and weighed 77,1 kg, the same weight as his rival Leo Santos.
