Last Saturday night (9) marked the last chapter of the long-awaited trilogy between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. In an exciting duel, worthy of the size of the two fighters in the history of the noble art, Fury survived two knockdowns and knocked out Wilder in the eleventh round.

In addition to facing one of the greatest heavyweights of boxing's modern era, Deontay Wilder had to deal with another issue after the fight. According to his coach, Malik Scott, in an interview with the website ESNews, the American broke his hand during the duel.
“We went to the doctor afterwards, everything was fine. He has a bruise on his lip, broke his hand, fractured his finger or joint. But life goes on”, revealed the coach.
The trilogy between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder reached the end with two wins for the Brit and a draw. After seeing his pupil knocked out twice in a row by Fury, Malik Scott admitted that he sees the champion with different eyes.
“I've always said that Fury is not good, he is very good and very close to being great. After tonight, I will consider him a great fighter. Much respect, Wilder was great, but Fury was even better. The best won. We almost defeated him, it was a great experience”, said the coach.
Finally, Scott stated that Deontay Wilder should spend a good amount of time resting and away from the ring.
“Deontay has been talking about not doing anything boxing related for a while. I want him to have a good rest. Especially after this fight, because after the last fight he worked really hard without resting. He needed a good rest and I will make sure he gets it now,” he concluded.
