Viscardi makes his UFC debut against Marunde in Rio de Janeiro
Semifinalist of TUF Brasil 2, Viscardi Andrade did not see his name being selected for any fight in the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, which takes place this Saturday in Fortaleza. But this doesn't mean that Jales from São Paulo isn't in the UFC's plans.
The welterweight will debut for the organization on August 3rd, at card do UFC Rio 4. Viscardi's opponent will be the American Bristol Marunde, who had a stint on TUF 16, where he ended up being eliminated prematurely. Marunde officially debuted in the UFC in April, when he was knocked out by Clint Hester at the TUF 17 Finale.
Viscardi will enter the octagon defending an unbeaten record of six fights, with victories equally divided between knockouts, submissions and decisions. The Brazilian's last defeat with a 13-5 record was in July 2011, against Edilberto Crocotá.
