Royce Gracie says Neiman will be Bellator champion: 'He's a very talented boy'

The first champion in UFC history praised his family member and believes that he will soon win the belt of the organization chaired by Scott Coker

One of the main representatives of the traditional martial arts family, Royce gracie named a member of his clan as future Bellator champion. The first UFC champion praised the evolution of Neiman Gracie and said that, soon, he will win the belt of the organization chaired by Scott Coker.

“Neiman is a very talented kid who trains a lot. He came back after some injuries and had some bad fights, but I think he's settled in now. He has a good team. It's not that the old team was bad, but now the whole team is in sync. He's there at the top. Neiman is calm and that's what makes him very good, he's not aggressive, he's not that anxious. He is very calm and maintains his composure at all times. He is at the top and will be champion one day”, declared Royce.

Current number four in the welterweight rankings (under 77,1kg), Neiman is very close to a possible title fight. In his last fight, the Brazilian achieved his first career knockout over Mark Lemminger in the Bellator 266. The fighter has an MMA record of 11 positive results and two negative results.
