No regrets. Defeated by Thiago Marreta in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 38, held last Saturday (2), Johnny Walker he was not shaken by the new stumble in the company. After the setback in the judges' unanimous decision, the Brazilian used social media to praise his compatriot and promised to improve in the next challenges.

“The victory didn’t come to me, but it came to Brazil. Congratulations to Thiago Marreta. Thank you all for the support. This is just the beginning. Many victories will come. My time will come and I'm working hard for it. A lot of focus and a lot of hard work. I will still bring a lot of fruit and pride to my Brazil”, wrote Walker, on his Instagram account.

Last weekend, Johnny had the opportunity to advance in the light heavyweight rankings (up to 93kg), led by Jan Blachowicz. After 25 minutes of confrontation, the athlete from Belfort Roxo (RJ) ended up not reaching his goal and lost on points.

With the result, Walker should remain in 10th place. Thiago, in turn, defended fifth place.
