Former Brazilian promise in the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) of Ultimate, Thomas almeida is no longer part of the organization. Known for his aggressive style, the athlete could not resist the recent negative record and ended up being cut from the organization. A highlight of the roosters for years, Almeida could not resist the recent bad results. After spending more than two years away from MMA due to an injury, the athlete returned to Ultimate at the end of 2020. The fighter, however, was unable to repeat the good performances of his beginnings in the UFC and suffered two setbacks in a row.

In retrospect, Thominhas lost five of his last six appearances. His last fight took place in March 2021, when he was knocked out by Sean O'Malley.

Another Brazilian promise is also no longer part of Ultimate's plans. After the defeat to Joaquin buckley, in September, the athlete was released by the company. The man from Pará leaves the UFC without triumphing. In total, the fighter entered the Octagon on three occasions.
