H.Holm and N.Dumont will headline UFC Vegas 40 Photo: Instagram
after the confrontation between Miesha Tate and Ketlen Vieira being removed from the UFC Las Vegas 40 card, the show already has a new main fight. The duel between Holly holm e Norm Dumont, valid for the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg) was the clash chosen to headline the event scheduled for October 16th.

At 39, Holly holm comes from two consecutive victories. The former champion's last fight was against Irene aldana, in October 2020, when he won in a unanimous decision by the judges. The American has a record of 14 wins and just five losses in her career, four of them in title fights.
Norm Dumont is also looking for his third consecutive victory in the UFC. After being defeated by Megan anderson in her debut in the organization, the Brazilian scored triumphs over Ashlee Evans-Smith, in November 2020, and Felicia spencer, in May this year. The athlete from Belo Horizonte has a professional record of six triumphs and just one setback.
Besides Norm Dumont, the card of UFC Las Vegas 40 will feature seven more Brazilians, including Carlos Boi, Luana Dread and Bruno Buldoguinho.
