After a new show with the Ultimate gloves, Valentina Shevchenko remains unbeatable in the organization. After running over Lauren Murphy No. UFC 266, held this Saturday (25), in Las Vegas (USA), and maintain the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg.), the champion ruled out the possibility of moving down a division. In a press conference after the show, the athlete explained why she was not interested in seeking a second strawweight belt (up to 52,1kg).

“That would mean 'going hungry', not having good food. I could (go down a category), but I wouldn't like the process. I found my best physical shape at 56,7kg.”, said the athlete.

This weekend, Shevchenko proved once again why she is considered one of the best fighters of all time. Flyweight champion since 2018, the Kyrgyzstani again asserted her favoritism and won her sixth title defense in the group.

In front of the experienced Lauren Murphy, Valentina was not aware of the former Invicta FC champion. With a dominant performance, the athlete was barely touched and won with a tough knockout in the fourth round.

At a great moment in his career, Shevchenko hasn't known what it's like to lose since 2017. His last stumble came in the fight against Amanda nunes, when he still worked with roosters (up to 61,2kg.).

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
