The former middleweight champion of the now defunct EliteXC, Robbie Lawler could be the UFC's newest signing. The fighter himself published on his blog that he was in talks about his return to Ultimate.
“I spent the whole last week at the UFC with Matt hugs. The atmosphere was cool as always. I spent some time talking to Monte Cox, my manager, about what my options are. I also had a quick meeting with the president of the UFC, Dana White. The things that were said make me believe that everything will be okay. I'll post again as soon as I'm signed to an event. Until then, I will dedicate myself to maintaining my shape,” Lawler published on his website.
