“It has been six years since my last defeat. Colby (Covington) was defeated by the champion, he fought against Woodley, the fight ended due to injury, he was out for more than a year and will have another chance at the title. I have nine wins in a row and they say, “He needs one more.” Every time, it's another one. I think they're trying to beat me, but I can't lose. I truly believe I will be the next world champion. They're trying to hold me back from this, but it's coming. I really believe that,” Edwards said.
