Ariane Lipski completely dominates Mandy Bohm at UFC Las Vegas 37 and wins again in Ultimate

The 'Queen of Violence' put on a show against the German newcomer and recovered from two consecutive defeats in the organization

Needing to win to breathe in Ultimate, Ariane Lipski put on an MMA show on the main card of the UFC Las Vegas 37 and defeated Mandy Bohm by unanimous decision from the side judges (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Owner of the octagon, the Brazilian was superior during all three rounds and surpassed the German in all areas of the fight.

With the victory, Ariane Lipski recovers from two consecutive defeats and breathes easy in the organization. The “Queen of Violence” won the fourteenth victory in her career and has seven defeats.

THE FIGHT

The fight started quite busy, with Ariane taking the initiative and using jab and straight combinations to get within Mandy Bohm's range. The Brazilian defended the German's first takedown attempt well and ended up landing on top, remaining in a dominant position for almost two minutes before returning to the fight on her feet. Ariane connected with a good high kick followed by a sharp right blow and shook the German, who quickly sought the clinch.

At the beginning of the second round, Ariane Lipski continued to take the initiative in the fight, but at a slower pace. Mandy Bohm attempted another takedown, but was thwarted again by the Brazilian, who remained standing. With just over 20 seconds remaining until the end of the round, the Brazilian connected with a sharp right blow that took the German to the ground, but was unable to define the result before the bell sounded.

Losing the fight, it was up to the German to try to be more aggressive in the final round, but the Brazilian maintained control of the fight. Ariane connected with another right blow, taking the German to the ground again. Lipski attacked her opponent, who resisted until the end of the fight.

One of the most anticipated fights on the card UFC Las Vegas 37 was short-lived. The Russian Arman Tsarukyan showed why he is considered one of the most promising fighters in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) and ran over Christos Giagos, achieving victory by technical knockout in the first round.

The victory over Giagos was the fourth in a row for Tsarukyan, who has not lost since his Ultimate debut in 2019. The Russian now has 17 wins and just two losses in his career.

The second fight on the main card of UFC Las Vegas 37 showed the audience a spectacular turnaround. Saved by the bell at the end of the first round, Nate Maness achieved a knockout victory over Tony Gravely in the second round.

The first round of the fight was very busy from start to finish. More aggressive, Tony Gravely pressed Nate Maness, managed a takedown during the round and a spectacular knockdown in the last seconds of the round that almost ended the fight, but Maness was saved by the bell.

Still not appearing to be fully recovered, Maness was getting the worst of the fight on the feet at the beginning of the second round, but all it took was a sharp right blow to turn the game around. Gravely went to the ground and Maness went all out until the referee stopped him for a technical knockout.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Nathan Maness, the third in the UFC octagon. “Mayhem” now has a record of 14 wins and just one loss in his career.

Tony Gravely, in turn, saw the sequence of two victories come to an end. The American Top Team athlete now has 21 wins and seven losses in his career.
