The last stage of the Brasiliense Jiu-Jitsu Circuit, Winter Internacional, has started. On Saturday (18) and Sunday (19), in Brasília, the Ginásio do Cruzeiro (SHCES 811), will host the competition, which has more than a thousand registered athletes, coming from different states of the country. The competition, organized by the Brasiliense Sports Jiu-Jitsu Federation (FBJJD), will feature the participation of male and female athletes, from different belts.

This Friday (17), the official weigh-in will take place prior to the disputes. The measurements will start at 15pm and run until 18:30pm.

With light weights, on Saturday, the competition will begin. The fights will start at 9am with clashes between athletes aged between 16 and 45. The tournament will count points towards the Brazilian championship and the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, which takes place in October this season.

The clashes will be broadcast live on the Brasiliense Jiu-Jitsu Federation's Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. The finals will start at 16pm.

On Sunday (19), it will also be tournament day. From 9am to 16pm, fans will be able to watch the fighters testing themselves on the mat.

It is important to highlight that, during the competition days, the Brasiliense Sports Jiu-Jitsu Federation will promote the event using a strict security protocol due to the coronavirus pandemic. A Covid-19 test will be required, the number of people will be controlled and all athletes will be allowed to arrive at the venue with just one coach.

During the three days of competition, a strict safety protocol will be followed, such as requiring athletes to present a Covid-19 test, temperature measurement, control over the number of people, with only the presence of one companion and one coach permitted. per athlete, among other measures.
