During his participation in The MMA Hour, on the North American website MMAFighting, Jake Paul revealed that he would like to face Jorge masvidal in his next boxing fight and explained the reasons behind the choice.

“From a personal point of view, I would love for my next opponent to be Masvidal. Because he knows how to talk nonsense and has a big name. He's at his peak and we have personal issues involved. I ended up with Tyron, his boy. I think he would be the toughest challenge, the toughest guy and the biggest name. The most relevant to date, so I think this is the fight to do”, revealed the YouTuber.

Sixth place in the UFC welterweight rankings, where he comes from two consecutive defeats against the champion Kamaru Usman, Jorge masvidal is close to Tyron woodley, former Ultimate champion and last victim of Jake Paul, and has expressed interest in facing the YouTuber several times.

For the fight to take place, however, the approval of Dana White, president of the UFC, will be required, as Masvidal has a contract with the organization.

“I hope Dana lets him fight outside of his contract, but I'm not sure that will happen. Daddy Dana White has to leave him,” Paul teased.
