Brazilian Vicente Luque challenges and Nate Diaz confirms interest: 'So, let's fight'

The stars seem to have aligned and Vincent Luque he could be close to his 'Dream Fight'. Standing out in the UFC welterweight (up to 77kg.), the Tupiniquim insisted so much that he seems to have convinced Nate diaz encountering a clash. After challenging the North American again with a video on social media, the duel could, in fact, get off the ground.

“To me, Nate is a fighter and fighters fight. I'm going to have an exciting fight, regardless of the opponent. If Nate wants a big fight, I won't sell it by talking, but by fighting. Everyone knows I'm going to be there, trying to take his head off, even if he tries to take mine off,” said Luque, in the images published on his account on Twitter.

Regular on social media, Diaz shared the video released by Vicente to add to his response. O 'bad boy' was simple and objective.

“Then let’s fight,” Nate countered.

Upon noticing his eventual rival's response, Luque wasted no time and tried to get the Ultimate's attention. Marking the social networks of those responsible, the Brazilian did not hide his excitement.

“This will be the fight of the year, UFC, Dana White and Sean Shelby. Make it happen. When real fighters enter the octagon, fans know it will be a war”, published the Brazilian.

In a great phase in Ultimate, Luque has four consecutive victories at welterweight. On the radar for a future title dispute, the athlete currently occupies fourth position in the group led by Kamaru Usman.

With great support from MMA fans, Nate diaz He is in his last fight under his contract with the organization. In 2021, the 'bad boy' returned to the octagon after a hiatus of almost two years, when he faced Leon edwards and ended up overcoming the judges' decision.
