“Saturday’s fights were conducted as exhibitions. The victories will not count for the cartels and were not official,” said a Commission representative.

Last Saturday's Triller Fight Club was originally scheduled to take place in California. After Oscar De La Hoya, original opponent of Vitor belfort, contracting Covid, abandoning the card and being replaced by Evander Holyfield, the event changed location as the California Athletic Commission did not approve the participation of the American former world boxing champion, now 58 years old.

As soon as Florida was chosen as the new venue for the event, the Commission approved the fight, adding that it could take place as an exhibition or as a professional fight.

The reasons that led Triller to choose to conduct all of the event's fights as exhibitions are still unknown, but the fact is that, even though they may have gone down in history, the victories of Anderson Silva e Vitor belfort will not be taken into account in their professional records.
