Last Saturday (11), Anderson Silva had a 'gala night' and defeated Tito Ortiz with a knockout in the first round. With the triumph, the 'Spider' achieved his second consecutive victory in boxing and now opens the doors to new opportunities. And, in a post-event press conference, the Brazilian celebrated the feat and left the door open for a possible fight against brothers Jake and Logan Paul.

“Tito (Ortiz) is a brilliant fighter, you know? I prepared my body and mind for war. And sometimes we win and we lose. Today, I won and I am very happy. I don't know (what my next step will be) but Jake Paul and his brother (Logan) have a chance of fighting against me or Vitor (Belfort). It's a good fight,” said 'Spider'.
Anderson, at 46, also responded to questions about continuing to perform at a high level. The Brazilian admits that, despite 'suffering' with the younger generations, he continues to train for 'wars' in the ring.
"I'm very happy. I think my team and I trained really hard and I just tried to have fun at all times in the ring. I just thank God for giving me this opportunity to show my work once again. When I train, I feel ready for anything inside. I train very hard and often get knocked out. I end up doubting that I can do this again and my coaches make a point of reminding me that I'm still in a 'war'. I’m here”, concluded the Brazilian.
The knockout over Ortiz marked Silva's fourth appearance in professional boxing – his third victory. After leaving MMA aside, the 'Spider' had already defeated former champion Julio César Chávez Jr., in June of this year.
