Two of the biggest names in MMA of all time, Jon Jones e Fedor Emelianenko, met this Thursday (23), in Russia. However, unfortunately for sports fans, the meeting took place outside the cage. The moment was recorded by the current UFC light heavyweight champion and published on his profile on Instagram.
In Russia to hold a series of lectures, Jones invited his followers on Twitter to check out the record of the meeting with the MMA legend. “There is a great photo of Fedor (Emelianenko) and I on my Instagram, go there and take a look,” said “Jonny Bones” on the microblogging network.
In his last appearance in the octagon, Jon Jones knocked out Chael Sonnen in the first round of the main fight of UFC 159, on April 27th. In turn, Fedor Emelianenko He ended his career after beating Brazilian Pedro Rizzo, in June last year, at the M-1 Global event. Previously, the Russian had made his mark in the sport by going almost a decade undefeated and being one of the most dominant champions in PRIDE history.
