Known for his provocations throughout his career, Tito Ortiz showed his 'claws' before the super boxing challenge against Anderson Silva. Facing an MMA legend this Saturday (11), the attack, however, didn't work very well. By making fun of 'Spider', in a press conference to promote the confrontation, the North American received an elegant and disconcerting response from the Brazilian.

“I'm not a boxer. I'm going to try to knock him out, that's my job. O Anderson Silva It's going to work its magic, Wing Chun, Bruce Lee, that shit. I’m going to get in the ring to fight and that’s it,” said Ortiz.
With a life dedicated to martial arts, Silva was undeterred and tried to counter his rival immediately. The Brazilian, however, did not join in, remaining simple and objective.
“I’ve been fighting my whole life. Wing Chun and Bruce Lee's techniques saved my life all the time inside the ring and cage. I don't like to talk a lot. I like getting into the ring, the cage, and doing my job”, said Silva, who drew applause from the audience present.
The confrontation against Tito will mark Silva's second appearance in boxing in 2021. In June, the athlete put on a show by beating the former world champion in the 'noble art', Julio César Chávez Jr. Ortiz, in turn, will make his debut in the modality.
