After putting on a show and attracting attention in his Ultimate debut, Paddy Pimblett can receive a real 'cold water bath'. Executioner of Luigi Vendramini last weekend, the Englishman left the octagon with a suspected fracture in his right hand. If the injury is confirmed, the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg.) may receive a six-month medical suspension and thus have his participation in the season ended.

Pimblett's suspension is not definitive. According to the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), Paddy may spend less time 'on the side', if an x-ray is released, which rules out a fracture in the big finger on his right hand.
If the fighter obtains the release through a specialist, the hook will consequently be smaller. Thus, the lightweight can receive a 45-day suspension, the same time as Luigi Vendramini, knocked out by the Englishman in UFC Las Vegas 36.
With a 'marrento' style, Pimblett arrived with everything in Ultimate. Cage Warriors icon, the fighter drew attention for his aggressive, brave and provocative style, in the interview after his UFC debut.
The victory over Vendramini marked the 17th career victory for the 26-year-old fighter. Today, the lightweight has 20 appearances in professional MMA.
