In your last fight, André Sergipano 'shocked the world' by submitting and fracturing the jiu-jitsu legend's arm, Ronaldo Jacare. And now, the Brazilian has gained another name for his continuation at middleweight (up to 83,9kg). At the UFC 269, which takes place on December 11th, he faces the South African Dricus Du Plessis, in a duel of undefeated teams, with no location yet defined. The information was released by 'ESPN' North-American.

Sergipano, 31 years old, comes from jiu-jitsu and was discovered in the 'Contender Series', a reality show in which Dana White discovers new talents in Ultimate. After signing with the organization, the Brazilian achieved three victories in a row – against Antonio Arroyo, Bartosz Fabinski and Ronaldo Jacare. Professional since 2009, he has a record of 21 triumphs and four setbacks, in addition to occupying 15th position in the ranking of his category.

At 27 years old, South African Du Plessis achieved two good victories in his start with the organization. In all, he knocked out Markus Maluko and Trevin giles in sequence and now has a record of 16 positive results and two negative results in his career.

Besides André Sergipano: UFC 269 has a 'squad' of Brazilians on the card. On the preliminary card, Priscila Pedrita face Gillian robertson, Amanda nunes e Charles of the Bronx defend their titles against Julianna Pena e Dustin poirier, respectively. Furthermore, Alexandre pantoja should also compete for the belt against Brandon Moreno in the same event.
