After publicly challenging Nate diaz e Jorge masvidal, Gilbert Durinho seems to have ‘given up’ on the stars and is targeting a new opponent. Willing to remain active in the welterweight division (up to 77kg), the former challenger for the group's belt proposed a confrontation against Neil Magny and, this time, there was no answer.

“I'm starting to itch (to fight), but everyone I challenge is busy. Neil Magny?”, wrote Durinho, in his account on Twitter.
Keeping an eye on Gilbert's attack, the Ultimate veteran didn't hesitate. Shortly after the Brazilian's challenge, the North American accepted the confrontation.
“I’m always chasing influences. I’m ready”, replied Neil.
Current number two in the ranking led by Kamaru Usman, Durinho has not performed since July, when he overcame Stephen Thompson by points. A prominent athlete in the division, the Tupiniquim seeks to regain its status as a title challenger.
With four victories in the last five commitments, Magny occupies the number eight position in the category. The veteran played twice this season, losing to Michael chiesa in January and recovering afterwards, against Geoff neal.
Spent all that time chasing clout! I've been ready! https://t.co/LLmv9VeRnA
