Close to face Vitor belfort In a boxing superfight, which takes place on September 11th, the legendary Oscar De La Hoya surprised by revealing a personal drama experienced in his childhood. In an interview with 'L', the multiple champion in the 'noble art' admitted to having been sexually assaulted by a woman in a competition in Hawaii. The crime would have happened in the 1980s.

“I was raped when I was 13, by an older woman. (I was 13. I lost my virginity by basically being raped. I was in Hawaii, I think at some tournament. She was over 35 years old”, said the boxer.

Oscar's outburst comes just over a week before his return to the ring. On September 11, the former world boxing champion and gold medalist at the 1992 Olympic Games will face Belfort, ending a hiatus that has lasted almost 13 years.

If on the one hand there was a wait of a decade, Vitor waited less to return to action. Brazilian legend in MMA, the 'Phenomenon' will make his first appearance since leaving the UFC in May 2018.
