Just over a year after leaving Colby covington from the American Top Team team, the issue still resonates. The owner of the gym, Dan Lambert, stated that he had no problems with 'Chaos', but he did not hide that his disrespectful way of promoting his fights bothered the rest of the team and that this led to his departure.

“I have no problems with Colby. I don't think he has a problem with me. His personality, who he was and how he chose to promote himself, just didn't mix with having a big gym with a hundred fighters in it. If Covington had stayed talking about Brazil and perhaps supporting the presidential candidate of his choice, he would still be in academia. But when you start attacking other people on your own team, people who aren't even in your weight division or even your fighting genre, that doesn't make for a comfortable situation in the gym,” Lambert said.

In closing, Dan stated that he doesn't think 'Chaos' is missing ATT and believes he should be fine at a 'smaller gym'.

“I think he’s better off in a gym. There they will be able to focus on him and he will be able to maintain his scheme by going against everyone in the world”, concluded Dan.
