Youtuber provokes by comparing popularity with MMA legend and admits needing a 'vacation'

The success of Jake Paul in his boxing appearances has yielded youtuber prominent place in specialized media around the world. The victory of the digital influencer in the face of Tyron woodley, last Sunday (29), further expanded the hyping about the young man, who is already at the level of legendary Conor McGregor.

“Who is doing this (generating so much engagement). It's crazy, filling this entire arena, a different audience. These weren't the blockbuster boxing fans. More relevant than Conor McGregor in his 18th fight, selling hundreds, tens, thousands and millions of pay-per-views,” said the youtuber.

The triumph over Woodley also extended Paul's undefeated streak in his boxing challenges. Now, the athlete has four consecutive victories, two of them against former MMA champions.

Jake's success, however, comes at a price. According to the athlete, some rest time will be necessary before defining the next step in his career. The fighter then suggested that he might be away from the ring for a while.

“I need time to think. I've been coming non-stop for 18 months. Let’s see what happens next”, he concluded.

After beating Woodley, Paul's range of options expanded even further. A few weeks ago, the athlete revealed some names against whom he would like to fight. Among the stars were Conor McGregor, Nate diaz e Canelo Alvarez placeholder image.
